Unlike the loony left comfortable in their houses on a rock in the Atlantic Israelis don't have the luxury of ifs and buts. People have spent the last 2000 years persecuting them and trying to exterminating them so why should they wait around to see what happens. Hit Iran and hit it hard.

As I've said,I really don't see Israel, or anything else, declaring war on Iran. We've been through this before.
Agreed, I don't think an all out war is war is needed here. A strategically placed missle into the Iranian nuclear site should be enough.

Yes, because the Iranians are daft enough to build a single clearly identifiable 'nuclear site' which can easily be attacked by a 'strategically placed missle'.

If it were that simple, it would have been done years ago.

No but the Israelis may have found out where it is.

The same Israelis who couldn't find their precious 'kidnapped' tank-gunner, despite the fact that he was held for years in a territory riddled with informants?

Anyway, the notion that the Iranians would keep all their alleged nukes in one single site is absurd. It's well known that their nuclear sites are widely dispersed.

Where are Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz now that Netanyahu needs them? They were so useful to Israel when they spooked the West out about Saddam Hussein's "weapons of mass destruction" but we must wait for "Peace" Envoy Tony Blair to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help him God with whom Blair is in close contact. I suppose we could make a contribution too against this bogeyman, Ahmadinejad, who, so unfairly, washes his face in the Caspian Basin. What about a nice selection of Irish passports? They have proved to be useful in the past for Ehud 0'Looney and Benny McYahoo, unruly nephews of Uncle Sam.

As the guy on sky news said, he doesn't think Iran wants Nuclear weapons to fire at israel, just a card to use so america will back off with the sanctions. I don't agree with nuclear weapons but shouldn't a country be allowed to have nuclear weapons even if america doesn't like them? I think china should worry more about Iran than america, but thats just me.
