Are the working class finished in Ireland.

Now that two-tierism is the flavour of the mouth in the Republic, are the
working class people been slowly eradicated by the capitalists. Should
they be issued a suicide pill and be done with it?

Before I answer that, do you mean 'eradicated' or 'irradiated'?

If they have been eradicated already, it may prove difficult to deliver the suicide pills.

If they have merely been irradiated, it may be possible still!

The working class has been transfered to the sweatshops of Asia to a good extent, where their work and their suffering stays well out of the sight of those who enjoy the product of their labour.

Of course, we have tens of thousands of foreign workers here to do the dirty, dangerous, boring and low paid jobs.

Ireland never really had that much of a 'working class' to begin with, seeing as the Industrial Revolution bypassed all but the North-Eastern part of the country. And nowadays, few people would actually consider themselves working class, especially those living outside the major cities. Ireland is a nation of a large suburban and rural middle-class, and a smaller urban working-class.
I have nothing to say. I say it regularly.
