FG will remain losers without Sinn Fein.

With FF with a leftist contingent, the collapse of the vote for the right (if there ever was one), it seems that Election 2007 was a rush to the centre.

Seems that the electorate has choosen to allow themselves to be manipulated yet again. A uniquely immoral Irish attitude to tolerate corruption by its leaders spawned anger when the Rainbow attacked Aherne for his obvious corrupt political life, as we will find out in due course. The idea that the Rainbow was running a 'negative' campaign gained much sympathy for FF thanks to the pro-FF media; thats rich when FF and the defunct PDs spend their time screaming that voting Rainbow was a vote in favour of poverty!

So that leaves the Rainbow with the one chance they have to actually gain somthing for their failiures, they can get Sinn Fein to play king maker. Does this mean a vote for union with the North? No, but not exploring the option of Sinn Fein will undo best laid plans for generations, because the Irish will always vote for the devil they know. As a result a generation may pass with knowing the FG devil, and so FF corrupt hypocricy will go on.

    Onwards!

You have to throw Sinn Fein IRA into the Dollymixture that Enda is trying to put together Otherwise he can't get across the line. The fact that he is still talking about trying to put together a Dollymixture for change shows that he is willing to deal with Sinn Fein IRA or anyone who will put his portrait on the walls of Leinster house.

But if we do end up with FG/Lab/PD/Grn/Lowery/Ind FF/SF/Gregory/McGrath then there is no point in taking down the posters because they will be back up within a week. Does a Taoiseach have to be in office for more than a set time before he qualifies for the official portrait. If you could go on a weekend city break and miss his term in office did he really exist?

Ind FF doesn't exist any more. Did you miss the memo?

I think the main reason FG did well and SF didn't is that FG seems concerned with immigration and SF don't. That is the elephant in the room.

I honestly think that both SF & FG would rather stay in oppisition than form any alliance.
