I know nothing about security, but Croke Park isn't secure enough, and the city centre is? If I was a sniper kind of guy (and I'm not!), I'd like those odds.

Presumably there's going to be some kind of platform at the Trinity end, and then, by my count, sixteen streets or access points blocked off.

And eh, what about the pubs? And restaurants, of course, within the cordon? If there's no food or beverages allowed to be brought in, then surely all the horses will have to be watered somehow. (Obviously, I'm bringing the horse, as I'll leave the car at home).

I would like to see this, but I don't think I'm Obamanic enough to start camping now, which is probably necessary to make the cut.

Having witnessed the Queen in all her glory I will be doubling up and heading off to see Obama too. Immense pride in this country at the moment. Lets hope the security is as good as it has been in recent days.

Let's hope the blueshirts don't let their true feelings out of the bag.

Passed thru Moneygall today and was amused to see the scaffolding around an unfinished house in a ghost estate being dismantled. Another great statement of we are where we are in teh county Offaly brought to you by you know whom.
