    Bush impeachment attempt?

Perusing the Guardian blog i came across this crew who are organising a campaign to have bush impeached for misleading the congress over the iraq war.
This campaign is a result of the Sunday times article before the election in the UK which suggested that the decision to use force was in place a year earlier.
I know its unlikely to go all the way but they successfuly held a meeting in on capitol hill last week with over 30 congressmen in attendence, democrats unsurprisingly.
Without heading back into Iraq legality etc, what do we reckon? This one got legs? I reckon it could hurt the "Bush Dynasty" more than neo-conservatism myself should it garner any success.

It would have the same effect as the Clinton impeachments-short term popularity/long term damage. Especially since Bush is a war time President-it would be seen as 'unpatriotic'.
The mid-terms would likely see Republican gains, which is the last thing the Dems need right now. Which is the last thing America needs right now!

    You are exactly right.
