    Not likely, the dispute is over the British rebate on one hand, and the CAP on the other. Seeing as we benefit heavily from the CAP, we aren't really honest brokers. An honest broker would have to be one that benefits only moderately from the CAP.

    Plus, we don't have that super European, future Taoiseach, the enigmatic Dick Roche in there for us this time. (Why was he given credit for the whole Constitution negotiation anyway. He was out talking to the media for the whole bloody time, while the negotiations were going on!)

    I can’t see the UK leavening the EU anytime soon.

    Slightly of topic, but is anyone else sick of hearing stupid anti-French comments and deplorable jokes on English television? They always pat them selves on the back for their stiff upper lip and how they apparently are self-deprecating. But recently their gloating and other nonsense has gone of the chart.

    Especially on Rupert Murdoch's Pravda, Sky News, the tabloid of news networks.
