Hmmm... Not a situation where one would want to have any lapses of memory which could come back to haunt you.
It doesn't seem to have done Willie O'Dea much harm.

Weasel, sorry, Willie hadn't gone out of his way in the preceding few months to hack off his entire parliamentary party....

Ivor says he paid his second home tax on his Clontarf home not his Holiday Home in Cork.

It is addressed to Ivor Callely, The Paddock, Kilcrohane, Cork, and it is paid on 7 St. Lawrence’s Road, Clontarf.
Does that mean he wife has to pay on the Cork house as being her second home!!!

Wonderful cover on the Metro yesterday, a picture of Ivor next to the headline " A pariah, chancer and rogue". Of course underneath it spoils it somewhat-well, a little-by saying "IC says that what people think of me because of the committee" or words to that effect.

I think this is another one for the "Only in Ireland" collection:

EMBATTLED Senator Ivor Callely claims he did no wrong in claiming €3,000 of mobile phone expenses using receipts from a company that had gone out of business.
Irish Independent: Callely insists phone bill was in good faith

He should maybe try the same expense claim in a private company.
We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?
