BBC News - Tony Blair pelted with eggs at book signing in Dublin

I think its a pity none of them hit the intended target.

Cheeky buggers at the BBC :

Did you witness or take a photo of the eggs and shoes being thrown?

I'm just after passing O'Connell street. Trots have no aim whatsoever.

It's a miserable day for protesting. Fair play to those who went out.

I'd have been much happier if they had been dinosaur eggs - preferably fossilised.

I think there should be a similar movement to give Mr. Cowen and co. a similar treatment. Throwing eggs may be juvenile and dangerous but its a great way of blowing off steam

The scum are back on the streets with their tracksuits, throwing objects at innocent people who just wish to get a signed copy of a great book about a great man.

Tony Blair should be given the freedom of Dublin to honor the fact he has brought peace to Ireland.

Once again the small miniority of scum has shown themselves for just that.

100 protesters using violence is not a mandate it is a mentality of certain people who should be locked up and the key thrown away.

You will also most likely find these are the same people who protest against everything and the same people who live off the backs of the rest of society.
