Tony Blair should be given the freedom of Dublin to honor the fact he has brought peace to Ireland.

Once again the small miniority of scum has shown themselves for just that.

100 protesters using violence is not a mandate it is a mentality of certain people who should be locked up and the key thrown away.

You will also most likely find these are the same people who protest against everything and the same people who live off the backs of the rest of society.
I could not agree more. These people moan about everything, take everything they can off the state and give nothing back.

An overly vocal minority in a protest hijacks it by becoming violent.

Whats new? Also you're party wasn't beyond becoming violent at protests.

While i agree that violence is not the way to conduct a protect (as it undermines its value) and that people looking to get a signed copy of the book should be allowed do so without the fear of injury i do not agree with your views that all the people there who are protesting are scum, most would be normal people with strongly held views on this issue!!!

Got my book signed this morning. Should be noted that there were about 4x more people getting books signed than were protesting.

THANK YOU. This needed to be said. These people are scum, nothing else. Where were they when Saddam was gassing thousands of Kurds? Where were they when Saddam invaded Kuwait or Iran causing hundreds of thousands of deaths? I'll tell you where they were, they were sitting on the track-suit bottomed arses in front of the television with a six pack of beer beside them.

The good news is that they were out-numbered by people lining up to have their books signed, all they could muster was a miserable two hundred scumbags and because of them, businesses in Dublin had to suffer a loss of earnings.
