A parallel world where the majority of people are not perfectly happy, but far from despair and destitution.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Can you name the places or schools where this is happening ? I think you should go and see and the wonderful thing that happen out there.
Yes times are tough for us all but there is a safety net for everyone and nobody is destitute unless by choice.

I have been in hospitals and I have seen magnificent work been done.

Why do we concentrate to the negatives when there is so much positives out there, nobody is left out Newsey and there is help for everyone in these hard times.
