The move is well underway but can it do what other movies and books have done and force justice to be done?
The murders including the most savage act of pumping Fran O'Toole's face with bullets by a deranged British soldier were planned, organised and implemented by The Queen's Army yet they are still protected by the British Government.
We should all do our utmost to ensure some progress in this and the Dublin/Monaghan bombings before the elderly survivors and victims' families pass away. Hopefully this film will help.
Successive Irish governments have despicably failed to make attempts to find justice and this is a shame on all. Hollywood should show them up.
Lets not let the fact there is no evidence apart from a survivor saying one of the gunman had an English accent get in the way of a good film, hey.
There is no evidence apart from that Capt Niariac was involved.
Evidence like accusations from an MI6 agent? Unless I'm mistaken, that's exactly the sort of evidence that has gotten plenty of people time in jail.

I think most of the south had eaten nairac in their bacon a long time ago
theres plenty of evidence connecting niarac and indeed others in the British military to this gang over the years . The guns used were also lifted from a UDR base by jackons gang a few years earlier and that batch used extensively by the Glennane gang . The location , timeline , tactics and pattern of this gangs activities are unmistakable . This same UVF/UDR/RUC/SAS unit bombed Dublin . monaghan and Dundalk as well as numerous pubs north of the border . They also dressed in UDR uniforms to stage ro******************************************s and assassinate victims in tha general location - the murder triangle . This was yet another attempt to detonate a bomb in the south that went wrong . The witnesses had to be eliminated and almost all were .

The Dublin media would have been denouncing them to this day as provos who got what they deserved . Jim Cusack is still insisting the British had nothing to do with Dublin Monaghan and deliberately ignoring the evidence . While our very own gardai treat the victims of that massacre as subversives themselves and have done for decades .
Not surprising given that so many detectives have been illegally working as paid spies for the people who orchestarted it , as admiited to by Detective John McCoy when he was blackmiling the government. Not hard to make all the files disappear when youve that level of corruption and subversion within the state
