HANDS OFF PUBLIC SECTOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
Looks like they would prefer the McCarthy report recommendation for 17,000 job losses then?

or How much would be saved by freezing all increments until 2014?
    Or what about both?

They'll get the 17,000 job losses no problem so that's irrelevant.

It will be a sight to behold when Labour introduce PS cuts when they get into power with FG.

Why would any Govt hit the public sector again??? We've been hit twice in the one year - time for others to suck it up.

TBH, I think they'll hit us again with a paycut, something I would gladly accept instead of the Thatcherite bile contained in the Croke Park deal.

Explain please , I genuinely thought that this deal stood or fell on whether the pay cuts would be restored, not extended.

The paycuts will never be restored, and are a complete red herring in all this. Unions have been disingenuous in pushing this issue. The real battle has always been for terms and conditions of service. PS workers are finally waking up to this, thanks be to God.

I'm not looking to have my pay fully restored, I'll do my bit - but the Croke Park deal is a sham for the public service and the public.
