    Grim outlook

Tonights weather charts across all models are horrific - looks like the brief sniff of spring we had this week is set to be snuffed out next week - and all this on top of a growing season that is now the latest in over 30 years

PS: Just saw my first spring migrant (Chiffchaff - a type of warbler) today and there have been a number of reports of the first swallows arriving in places like Clare and Sligo - they'll be lucky to make it through the next week or two let alone have any thoughts of nesting/breeding/pairing given the current wintery outlook
