Kids see fight, claim €10k each

    Nice little scam here.

Two children, traumatised when a violent fight broke out between prisoners while they visited their father in Mountjoy Prison, have been awarded €10,000 damages each.
No wonder the country is broke.

Dunno. I can see how a 9 and 11 year old could be damaged by that. It's the state's responsibility to control these people. I'll bet the father was popular afterwards...

Once again the legal profession at so many levels are making fools of honest taxpayers- as if 15-year long tribunals were not enough.
How much did the lawyers get paid from the €20,000 of taxpayers money for this nonsense?
    Enough is enough.
If there is compensation to be paid it should come from those who caused the trouble-take it from their dole or whatever.

But sure why shouldn't these toerags rip off the system? Their political leaders are doing it, their bankers are doing it...if they're taking their moral instruction from on high there's no surprise why this hole of a country is in the state it's in
