Quite right there is no movement for real change, i would predict the twenty something year olds who are in education at present & will have no jobs to go to will bring about change in the coming years.

Fair play to the Irish community in Auckland for giving this incompetent Minister something to think about while she's on a lavish 15-day junket. She is a disgrace to this country and I hope we see the back of her soon.

The Irish Community in New Zealand did not protest.

Some sad bunch of loony left, expat work dodgers protested, and even at that, we don't know how many (2? 3?)

There's a reason why such people have to travel half way around the world to earn a crust.

Its because they're a waste of space.

Leaving the country is a "vote of no confidence" in the government! but, one they can live with.

Let's just remember that the "source" is a group calling itself the Connolly Club of Auckland and Socialist Aotearoa. They have no incentive to tell the truth because their target audience (Irish people) have no way to independently verify the story; also they have no credibility that could be verified by repeated reporting of their stories.

What I am saying is that this is probably one guy who is the NZ ex-pat equivalent of the anti-Harney posters around here.

Is that now the official party line on those who emigrate?
