Put him in jail for refusing to co-operate with a Garda investigation, and see if it refreshes his memory

Or ask him another simple question

How many different Gardai do pass information on to him, name them all, and have all of them investigated as being the source of the libellous allegation

There are so many lick ass guards who swoon around politicians and ministers, it could be one of many. And poor Willie probably had a few drinks at the time. I cannot recollect, or I cant remember is a standard FF answer, even in tribunal land. Willie is yewsterday's man now. Does he still write for the Sindo as I dont buy it anymore. He seems to remember a lot of dirt when he writes there which he can then throw at his opponents. Maybe Harris, Fanning, O Connor et all can help him to recollect.

Presumably the Garda investigating this matter will be as strict as the ones investigating Trevor Sargent, his Garda correspondence, and the Evening Herald.

I said from day one when he mentioned the Gardai in his Dail speech that I bet that he did not exist. Inventing a mytical 'garda' was convenient for the purposes of his defence in the Dail. However, that is no longer the case in an actual Garda investigation. If he did not intend to get a real Garda in trouble for giving him this information then he would not have said so in his Dail speech. He was lying through his teeth.
