Minister Hanafin refusing to respond to emails

I contacted the Department of Social and Family Affairs last year(november i think) and reported 3-4 seperate cases of serious welfare fraud. I know for a fact that the people i reported have not been caught. Even though ieven supplied places of work etc.. I then decided last friday to email the Minister directly and outlined the evidence i had. I sent an email again on Monday asking for at least an aknowledgement of my previous email. I have yet to receive a reply. If my claims were properly investigated it would save the state tens of thousands of taxpayers hard earned cash.

The best case i am aware of is a family who have claimed lone parents allowance for past 7 years and the husband also claims jobseekers allowance at a seperate address. he also has a flat paid for with rent allowance. he rents it out to his cousin for 105euro per week. He and his wife own 3 properties in their home country. Yes they are all Non-nationals before anyone asks.

What should my next step be? should i contact some opposition t.d's?

She is on work to rule; she is not responding to emails from cranks (unless they live in DL).

You filled in this form and got no answer?

    https://www.welfare.ie/EN/Secure/Pag...pectFraud.aspx

Did you try to call the Welfare dept first? Or did you just reel off the details of the cases as you perceive them to the Minister? Because you know that would make you look like a crank right?

Yes indeed by saving the state thousands of euro of taxpayers money I should be compared to Judas. Of course these people should be allowed to continue to defraud the state.

Contacted fraud section last year. emailed her all relevant details last friday. Dont see how highlighting social welfare fraud to THE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL NAD FAMILY AFFAIRS would make me seem like a crank?

Do you think she or any other politician would be nasty to those who voted them in? Vote buying is an expensive enterprise.

As for the cretinous comment re 30 pieces of silver; denouncing wrongdoing is not the same as what Mister Iscariot did for the 30 pieces of silver.
Politicians do not stand for anything beyond whatever they think will get them elected.
