But you said: " she is more than welcome to tell them that i reported them. In fact i will testify against them in court if necessary" ..... You did say some of them were related to your wife tho and then you said they weren't - which is it? Also I presume these people are friends of your wife. It's just a bit odd. If you felt strongly about their deception you should at least say it to them first that it was you that reported them. That would be the honest thing to do and I presume you were driven to your action because you believe in honesty.
there is a difference between relatives and immediate family members. Can you still no get that?????!!!!! They are cousins etcc.. This is the last time i am going to say this.

I am not obliged to tell them that I am reporting them.

I then decided last friday to email the Minister directly and outlined the evidence i had. I sent an email again on Monday asking for at least an aknowledgement of my previous email. I have yet to receive a reply. If my claims were properly investigated it would save the state tens of thousands of taxpayers hard earned cash.

The best case i am aware of is a family who have claimed lone parents allowance for past 7 years and the husband also claims jobseekers allowance at a seperate address. he also has a flat paid for with rent allowance. he rents it out to his cousin for 105euro per week. He and his wife own 3 properties in their home country. Yes they are all Non-nationals before anyone asks.

What should my next step be? should i contact some opposition t.d's?
Your best bet for rapid action is to march up and down outside these peoples homes with a slogan on a placard such as Give back your dole we need it to bail out the Bankers

Report it to the Department, report it to Opposition TDs, contact newspapers. The snivel servants are in this thread mocking a person for being civic minded. I did try and contact Mary Hanafin, a local TD for a person I was giving some help to, no response. She appears to be striking in sympathy with the snivel servants - a fairly useless Minister and given she was a teacher, that's what I'd expect (I have found teachers to be more likelier to be rude and pushy outside the classroom, and years ago when I was in one, plenty of them were bullies, so tempted at times to say 'don't talk to me like that, I'm not one of your students').

The Ombudsman is there to deal with complaints of poor service. She does a good job.

'The Ombudsman's staff examine complaints concerning the administrative actions of Government Departments, the Health Service Executive (including public hospitals such as the Mater Hospital and St. James's Hospital), local authorities and An Post. '

I think her (the Lady Mayoress') type benefit isn't means tested, I think so I might add, but that's taking the proverbial mick.

Last June you told us that the Single Parent Allowance was being claimed for 5 years and that the husband was earning €30,000 a year and claiming married tax credits. You also said that they had a house in Romania worth €100,000. Now since last June, 5 years has stretched to 7 years and the €100,000 house in Romania has turned into 3 properties. Perhaps they bought another 2 properties when they were on the 2 month vacation in Romania that they set out on in June 2009.
