How will they know. I'm sure he/she won't be informing them that they have fulfilled their civic duty.

Yes i reported them to the fraud section by phone. Do you still not get that i followed procedure? Do you think that link you posted is the only way to report this? Who says that you cant report these claims via phone?

What did they say when you called them to follow up?

This thread is taking a nonsensical turn! The OP reported the misdeeds. He appears to have been ignored. He then reported to the minister and was also ignored.

Now if we have a citizen who is willing to report and bear witness to misdeeds then the relevant authority should take immediate action.

Cutting across with idiotic remarks does not make for good debate. Where are the zealous mods?

I hope you had the decency to tell them what you did before you did it if they are members of your wife's family. If it was my in laws and I loved and respected my spouse, I would discuss it with them and then inform the in laws what they are doing is wrong and that I will be reporting them. Maybe she doesn't speak English?

When i first informed them of my claims they told me that they could not give me any updates on the investigation (Which is understandable) and therefore there was no point in calling for an update.

I have nothing against the Dept. possibly they are too under-staffed to deal with these claims. But The Minister should at least acknowledge my correspondence.

That ofcourse would be the decent thing to do, if they then persisted in defrauding the State by all means inform the Dept. Atleast give them the chance, i get the feeling that the OP is motivated not by a sense of civic duty more out of bitterness or jealousy.
