Could de Bert be moving to escape the Tribunal findings?

Resign his seat, add it to the by-election list, and swan off to the States

Ahern and "Culture"? He probably thinks Boy Bands are a cultural export. But then if he moved to the US it would save us paying for his flights to the Washington Speakers Bureau events.

    Ireland's cultural ambassador:

Mind you, I think we could have done better. And Sea the Stars has time on his hands.

You should listen to my bias, not the other side’s bias.

I read his spake in the IT today...... mutterings about the " Anglo Yeats " !!

I suppost the " culture " is going to be narrow, green and slightly constitutional as usual. So much for cherishing all the children.

Oh dear. He's been co-opted. I normally like GB, but he was recently interviewed [on Norris on Sunday?] and the ponderous intellectual coat didn't fit him at all.

Generally, it's an idea I quite like. But there is a faint whiff of luvvieness about it.
