Only once per 4 years, while union leaders will be replaced immediately if they will not protect useless part of public services more then critical

If you want more of a say in how public finances are allocated, perhaps you should run for elected office. The Government isn't going to run it's decisions by you before they take them.
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

It doesn’t matter who will be in government – me or Lenihan
Until union leaders will not approve deal, it will be not completed. It means that 10% of population have exactly the same decision making power as remaining 90%, like aristocracy in middle ages.
Lenihan rejected unions offer to spread burden equally between low paid and high paid workers through equal number of unpaid days and unions are treating to put country on ransom

Well no. The Government have the decision making power. They'll take whatever decisions they like, same as they did last December, same as they did last March, with or without union agreement.

But then unions decided that it is unfair and if union leaders will decide fight to the end, government will not have other option, except reversing cuts

Disgraceful stuff from the PS. Tis all about money for them.

They were quiet happy to take all the wage increases and gold pensions thanks to the work of the private sector. Remember that golden nugget 'pay equality' or 'wage equality' or 'public private parity' that the unions were so fond of?

Now that the private sector has collasped, where is all this 'pay equality' gone? The unions dumped the private sector workers faster than you can say diddums.

Here's hoping the whole public sector go on strike. For three months. We'd save a fortune. Screw the people who'll die/get run over/burn in a fire. Tis more important these numpties get it through their heads that value for money is a concept that must be enforced. When we see the incompetents getting fired then we'll know the PS have finally gotten the most basic of principles of what having a job entails.

There will be no reversal of cuts. Not even the Union mouthpieces in Labour will agree to that. This country's borrowing costs would rocket if the government caved in. I feel the Unions know this and are looking for some small concession so they can back down with face intact.

Disgracefull. The army probably wont cover any strike either. Lives will be lost through public sector greed.
The expectation that one will be paid ones agreed salary is a very funny definition of greed.
