    Dr Zion snubs Oireachtas

The Israeli Ambassador has decided its not worth his time explaining the theft of Irish passports to an Oireachtas committee.

Envoy declines Dáil committee invite - The Irish Times - Wed, Mar 10, 2010

He claims, in traditional gangster style, 'I don't know nothin' about no stolen passports'. What good is he as an ambassador if his government doesn't keep him informed?

Anyone up for a protest outside the embassy?

He took his cue from the Papal Nuncio.

Bless 'im - his feelings are still hurt since the page with his signature on it was ripped out by Carrickmacross council. They're sensitive on such matters, the Israelis, though their sensitivity doesn't extend to anywhere outside their 'borders'.

What would you be protesting about? His slight to our august Foreign Affairs Committee?
    All generalisations are false.

Said it before and will say it again. When you get a conviction against an Israeli agent, then go to town on the Israeli amabassador. Until then we should observe the rule of law.

Bang those who were using the previous visit of the Israeli Ambassador to abuse Papal Nuncio stating a demand that he should have attended Oireachtas meetings.

His government as refused to deny they did it. Can you imagine any other Middle east country trying, and succeeding, in getting away with that?

And don't call him Dr Zion. It makes you look like a racist jackass.
    Thats idiotic.

    .
We are not in the middle east. When we have proof then throw the book at him, bring him in for a carpeting etc. Until then we observe the rule of law.

Israel is in the middle east. Imagine if Iran had been implicated in an assassination using Irish passports, and had refused to deny they'd done it. Would you give them the benefit of the doubt?
