How about this: Ministers, MI5 deny UK colludes in torture

Not at all. If an english idiot referred to Bobby McDonagh as Dr Paddy I'd think he was a racist jackass as well. It's nothing personal.
The man's name is actually Zion, and he is a doctor. If someone called Dr. Bobby McDonagh 'Dr. Bobby' would that be racist?

There's little doubt the Israelis did this, find the proof and then expel him as a sign of our displeasure. Don't expel him for ignoring our worthless system
    .

It's not up to the Irish government to find proof regarding international crimes.

The evidence linking Israel to this contract killing is overwhelming, albeit mostly circumstantial. The Israeli ambassador has refused to assist the Irish governent's enquiry into the fradulent use of Irish passports. There are therefore ample grounds for Ireland to withdraw its amabassador from Tel Aviv and/or expel the Israeli ambassador. The US withdrew its ambassador from Damascus within weeks if not days of the Hariri killing, despie the fact that the case against Syria in that affair was far weaker than the case against Israel in this affair, and that it had nothing in particular to do with the US.

Having read the full transcript of the Foreign Affairs Committe meeting with that old duffer Col Travers (he of Goldstone infame) who'd blame Dr. Zion for refusing to go.

He was summoned to the Dept Of Foreign Affairs a few weeks ago and he told them he knew nothing of the event. He doesn't need to go to any committees to have to say the same thing. Waste of time.

And Ireland doesn't need to maintain diplomatic relations with a minor, foreign subsidised nation that steals their passports and insults their government. Waste of space.

I am not giving them the "benefit of the doubt" I am saying that there should be proof irrespective of which country is involved.

It is a disgrace that the likes of you portray yourself as liberal while denigrating Israel at every opportunity. No other nation is the focus for such vitriol.

Iran, since the 79 revolution has carried out in the region of 160 killings, or attempted killings, abroad. Most of these being Iranian political dissidents.

I don't have evidence to hand that Irish passports were used but it's safe to assume that these operatives didn't always use Iranian passports when on a mission. It could be that Irish passports weren't used but if they weren't it was simply the luck of the draw.

I'd like to also draw your attention to the different motivation for these missions. Israel undertakes these missions to kill actual enemies who've a record of themselves killing, usually defenseless people. Iran undertakes them to kill political opponents or human rights activists.

I think those distinctions are worth being mindful of as you mount your high horse.
