Willie O'Dea acolyte forced to clean up facebook page

Willie O'Dea acolyte Cathal Crowe has been forced to clean up his facebook page .

It is called "willie O'Dea, Ireland's hardest working TD has got our support".

It was alleged that FF Councillor Crowe had allowed people to post the original defamation on his page.

A solicitors letter received by Clr Crowe and reprinted on the page states

"Our client settled his High Court action with Mr. Willie O'Dea TD, the settlement included the withdrawl of certain defamatory allegations, yet you see fit to allow your contributors to reiterate the same defamatory matter."

Limerick Blogger Forum / Facebook, 'Willie O'Dea, Ireland's hardest working TD, has our support

The man is obviously not the brightest, he seems to have been caught out with postal media, online media and print media.

This is the same Cathal Crowe who who was paid €13,000 of public money for putting leaflets through doors on former Minister O’Dea’s behalf.

And oddly enough, the defamatory claims are still there:

More Libelous comments on his Facebook. It seems that Crowe is refusing to take down libelous comments. Most interesting, dumb but interesting.

Maybe he doesn't know how to use Facebook. Willie Watch, do you know if this is the same libel that was repeated earlier, if not then you could you forward this to the solicitors.

It is also the same one that paved a poster off a shop window. He was unaware that he was on CCTV, as the shop it seems has an ongoing problem with pilfering. The poster was an article that outlined Crowes opposition to proposals for a police sub-station in the Westbury estate. Goodman Cathal, the last thing Limerick needs is police stations in troublesome areas..

Looks like the offending posts have now been removed

Hmm, Cathal must not be liking the comments posted in reply to the solicitor's letting post. He has deleted them all. He seems to be very busy with his facebook page tonight

The following is an extract from the aforementioned Facebook re WOD.

1.Slandered another politician during an election campaign.
2.Swore a false affidavit to the High Court
3.Paid substantial damages and issued an apology
4.Made a fool of himself during a Dail debate & on the news at one
    5.Was forced to resign.

Thats what is going to be remembered
