    Gormley leaving Cabinet

Its seems Ciaran Cuffe will be replacing Gormley in a deal done before the government was formed, just reported on TV3 now.

Just caught the tail end of this on TV3, but didn't get the full thing.

This is ridiculous bullsh1t. Swapping mid way so some non-entity gets a profile boost to help save his seat.

If this if governing, I'll eat my hat.

Would Ciaran Cuffe last in government if this was the case?

He seems like a back-bencher who acts as the occasioanl internal conscience of the parliamentary party.

If he wasn't happy with something FF were doing, would he be more likely to throw his toys out of his merc rather than be walked over?

What do their junta partner do ? There are junior ministers that nobody, bar their constituents, have ever heard of.

Its an internal deal within the Green Party, personally I think Gormley has performed well and should stay, however the Taoiseach cannot force someone to be a Minister.
