So where does this leave Gormley in relation to his ministerial pension?

And what about Cuffe? How long till he qualifies for a ministerial pension?

Also, will Cuffe be entitled to a new Ministerial car or will he just take Gormley's Prius?

If Gormless is trying to save his seat he'll have a tough job ahead of him. Seeing as his only genuine ability is to talk in circles and produce more bulls**t than a Deseret cattle ranch they're not exactly the skills needed to win back a very unhappy constituency.

In fairness Dick Roche did the hard work on that one. Gormley just came in at the end and took the glory.

De Burca, dared Gormley to publish the DDDA report. So now that Cuff is in place, the report can be left unpublished.....I know that's light....but then so are the greens.

Of course it does. The Minister is still in control of the Department, sits at the cabinet table and all the rest. On your other point, you should appoint people as a Minister because they are the best person for the job not to get experience and although Gormley hasn't been great, I think he is a better Minister than Cuffe will be. Finally the leader of the party really should be at the cabinet table and it does weakened them if that's not the case and the Greens aren't exactly strong in this government.

    This just seems very amateuristic.
