Quinlivan opens office in Limerick with Willie O'Dea's money

I just heard from very reliable sources here in Limerick that Maurice Quinlivan & Sinn Fein are opening an office in Limerick next week with the money that Willie O'Dea has paid in damages.

I suppose you could say that Quinlivan donated the the Willie O'Dea award money to his favourite charity.

The irony of it!! Although plans to open this office were well in place before this whole ordeal began, so although it might make good tabloid reading I would confidently say the finaces to support this venture were already in place.
Its generally a collective effort by SF over the entire constiuency the office would serve.

Still it would be great to think Willie's cash is paying for a nice comfy sofa there and mabye a framed picture of Martin Ferris!

They had been talking about finding an office for a long time but I'm told that the Willie award made the finance possible.

Quinlivan received his award before Chistmas. The office was just taken on last week. I drove past it this morning and they were painting the outside of the building.

I'm sure that the media will be on to Quinlivan who will confirm it.
