Has Deirdre deBurca actually quit the Green Party or just the parliamentary party?

Statements all over the media are stating that she has - however it appears to me that a lot of people didn't read her statement in detail when she says

I am writing to inform you of my intention to resign from the Green Party Parliamentary Party and from Seanad Eireann with immediate effect.

Absolutely nowhere does it say that she has resigned from the green party - there is a difference between leaving the parliamentary party and leaving the party.

She said she did not want to be part of the green party , so I would imagine that means out .

We have lost our way as a party and I am sad to say that it has reached a point where I, and most of the people I know, will be unable to vote Green in the next election.
