An English friend once told me about a big billboard that a church had erected beside a bus stop in Oxford. It read: "Where will you be spending eternity?"

Someone had scrawled a reply on it: "Here, most likely, waiting for a bleeding bus!"

Another good one I saw a few years ago was in a Finnish city where every other advertising column had a poster saying "Jesus is coming" and every other an ad for a well-known brand of condoms saying: "Be prepared, wear a Sultan!"

Coincidentally or no, all the groups mentioned above came under attack in the recent Budget devised by economists for politicians.
I watched with glee, while your kings and queens, fought for ten decades for the gods they made.

4 hours? Honestly, have people nothing better to do.

With respect, that does not answer my question.

The question of the virgin birth or Mary's virginity is not a political one. It is a purely theological/scriptural one. This is a political website. It should stick to political matters and not engage in religious bigotry.

oh just wait till the aethiests roll into the arguement and start banging on about that if god did exist he's basically a dirty paedophile that knocked up a 16yr old and then buggered off till the kid was 30 !

they'd demand he be strung up for statutory rape and a couple of decades worth of maintenance .
