Siptu Claims "Civil War" Between Ordinary Workers And High Earners !!!

Siptu says the real "civil war" in Ireland, is between ordinary workers and high earners eager to stay out of the tax net.

The union says the divide between public and private sector workers is a construct of the government to split the union down the middle.

Is this the case ? Or do we think the Public Sector is overpaid for their workload in general.? Should we be trying to heal the divide ?

Well I feel I have far more in common with another PAYE worker in the private sector than I have with someone on 200k in the PS.
I wont be taking industrial action to save the head of FAS or any other massive earner.

The real divide should be between the PAYE workers and the public sector frontline staff on the one hand; and the vast army of parasites in quangos and other state boards on the other.

The parasites in the public sector hide behind the frontline staff. "Think of the poor nurses!" they cry. Well the nurses and teachers and firemen and social welfare office staff and all the other people who actually work hard trying to deliver public services with few resources and under appalling "management" should just turn around and tell the parasites where to get off.

One question for the poor people and the rich people out there at what level is one considered a high earner ? Just so i know who to be shooting at when the civil war starts.

Oh not this again! It's simple, give them what they want or they will bring the entire country to its knees. Time to face the unavoidable fact here. Moving on, where will actual cuts be made?

This is absolutely correct. It's a shame that so many workers are falling so easily for the divide-and-conquer tactics of the upper classes.
To live honestly, to hurt no one, to give every one his due.

Yes , you are being spun . People are so stupid that a government who ruled over a boom to bust with dire results can get away with 5000,000 unemployed , broken banks and at the very least one lost generation can make you think that the public service is the real problem .
And the real stroke is that hey are still in power .
