Hate to ask the obvious, but has there been any hint of what might be in Chapter 19?

not 100% sure, but I think it might have some mention of people who there are currently cases against and so it could prejudice those cases. I think that's why any way - that's why it had to go to high court

The sad thing is that there are people who see this report as an opportunity to air their opposition to Catholicism. They're eargerly waiting in the long grass foaming at the mouth.

The fact is that this publication is going to be just as sad and distressing as the Ryan report. I fear that its findings will be used for all kinds of purposes. The most important thing AFAIC is the victims.

And for that very reason close attention should be directed to those - whether individuals or institutions - who protected and facilitated the criminal perpetrators.

Can you honestly see no logic there at all?

I guess the other side of the coin is that we are about to see Factorectum and Kill-a-Bill-barry back on this forum.

The two lovely little bent crusaders. Poor oul' Kilbarry has been searching the army lists for a Con O'Sullivan one hears

I like that phrase - "the Bent Crusader." Sounds like a 1970s British car or something. Or one of those crap WWII Allied tanks that crumpled when it ran into a tin can.

Eamon Keane is now discussing this with Mannix Flynn. Should we wait until the report is published in its integral entirety ?

Rubbish ! We're out in the open - unlike the Catholic Church which has tried everything under the sun to conceal its crimes, shelter the guilty and avoid paying due financial recompense to the victims you claim to be so concerned about.

Have to agree with that. Also there will be reams of maudlin articles articles asking how "we" let down the kids etc etc.
