Tv license man came to my door, I told him I had no TV.
He pointed at my aerial and said, " I'm not stupid, you have an Aerial so you must have a TV!"

It can be a lot easier to lose the TV altogether, it maybe hard for some to accept but yes there is life after TV, and what a tremendous relief to see no more TV advertisements eh? No more half baked news reports, no more Late Late, no more american cop shows (how many do you need to see in a lifetime), no more disappointment with television. lose it.
You dont need a license for the PC, watch programmes online.
Then again people need tv's, otherwise we'd go back to having families with 10 kids in them - and sit up late playing endless games of scrabble and eye spy.
Life would get crap pretty fast.
Now that I think of it, a TV license is a bargain.
