State of the Parties Poll in Sunday Tribune - 14th Jan 07

With the new poll in the Tribune still having FF and the PDs ahead, Labour and FG gaining only slightly and the Greens falling off by a point....It has to be asked will the Irish people ever vote for change or will the gombeens have control forever???

I don't think pre-election polls are representative for election day. In the last german election all the political poll institutes missed the target by 10%. The institutes were probably right at the time but people just changed their mind at the last minute. What ever the sunday poll tomorrow it really means nothing.

So long as their opponents underestimate them, those that you refer to as “gombeens” will continue to have control.

    Question for you.
What is it about them or you that makes you believe that you have the right to label any group with the first offensive name that comes into your head ?
    or
Alternatively, when did the Green party decide that “being offensive” was the way to go?

Why, did you think we'd confuse it with the UCD "College Tribune" or something?
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.
