Doesn't look like nearly as much as I imagined from the article.

I normally agree with the acts of Tamsin and Co but this was a bit too personal I think. I would support them if they were dumping it at the gates of a politician who had recently made an especially anti-climate decision, but why attack Clarkson, who has no real political influence?

It has to be used. Using the term "Climate Change Sceptics" to label those who oppose AGW for emotional, political or financial reasons does a disservice to those who question AGW based on science. Real sceptics are motivated by science not money, love of cars or hatred of environmentalists.

Not at all. No more than thinking that he doesn't deserve to have manure dumped at his house, means that AGW is false.

Denying it doesn't cause anything. Failing to act on the facts yes, but not simply denying the facts. The UK isn't living up to its promises on emissions reduction but I doubt that's because of Jeremy.
"But do 'climategate' revelations justify the sceptics’ claims that this is “the final nail in the coffin” of global warming theory? Not at all. They damage the credibility of three or four scientists. They raise questions about the integrity of one or perhaps two out of several hundred lines of evidence."

Jeremy Clarkson has claimed that people are "bored" of hearing about climate change and would rather watch Top Gear than worry about the environment.

The outspoken television presenter, who was targeted by environmental campaigners last week, said people should be able to enjoy sunny days without feeling guilty about global warming.

Top Gear's coming to Dublin again.
I for one hope they burn loads of high octane fuel and set fire to a few caravans.
