How to get rid of this government

If people feel they have been denied a special moment (he checks his watch), well there are plenty of moments. They stretch into the future. It’s not a particular moment we want; but a future. We don’t want to be emotional at this time, we want to be calm and rational, above all, strategic.

First item on the agenda must be getting rid of this government. Especially as the major party in it seems to believe (and how deluded is this?) that it can find a second wind. I learned this from a interview Matt Cooper did with a representative of that party just before six. And, in fact, I would have known this was happening even if I had the sound turned down (which is pretty subliminal). How? A plant next to the radio spontaneously withered.

To get rid of this government all we need to do is make known our calm resolve that anyone who supports this government in a motion of no confidence is absolutely finished in politics. Whereas, based on the fact we all know, that there are good people to be found everywhere in Irish society, a few of those who vote against the government may have such a future (but only a few – just in case no one votes for the government). I think the government will fall. What do you think?

I could say: "all we have to do, to bring about the collapse of this government, is vote NO on October 2nd!!!" - but that would be political opportunism... so I won't.

Voting NO on 2 October is your best and legal route to getting this Government to implode...

If Enda wanted to get rid of them he'd have done the decent thing and called for O'Donohue to go.

A No on 2/10 and they are history.

A Yes and they stagger on.

Sigh, the No campaigners never miss an opportunity. Never voted for FF. Never would. But then I can recognise a con man at a hundred paces, and that includes Ganley
