Im not a fan of the one-day protest. I dont believe, in isolation, that they achieve a whole lot. We turn up, shout and wave the placards and go home to spot ourselves on the news.

Nevertheless, I am planning to leave sun-soaked West to attend the protest in Dublin. If only so I can say to myself that I at least tried to do something other than wail on an internet forum.

I believe theres on on the 19th planned as well. Good. Keep em coming I say. Dont just leave it at one, a series of em might actually leave an impression on our political masters.
