    GPA to field candidates in GE 07?

    Read something yesterday in a newspaper about a dispute between the Gaelic Players Association and the govt over funding, and hints that some might stand in the election against FF in marginal seats. Apparently the GPA are annoyed at govt indications that it wants the GPA to adopt some kind of semi-professionalism in return. Is this just posturing or is it true? And if so will they stand as Indos or FGers etc.? I am aware this is being discussed on Gaeilge part of the site, but as I cannot understand Irish most of the time I decided to post this here as I am very curious about what will happen.
