Pictures of aroused men and women's porn.

Just saw this in the wonderful old Guardian, entitled:

A Limp Response to Women's Erotica hmmmmmm.

Anyway, its the old chestnut about women consumers being unable to see erections (not of the Mies van der Rohe
    variety, mind you):

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe - Great Buildings Online

So to protect us girlies from er, porn there's rules and regulations. I do wonder what gay men who are obviously not as
wilting and modest as the average female to er titillate???
This is a link to one of the articles, so britishly called Crumpet http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...rn-Hardly.html

How someone can get away with posting such utter tripe on a political forum is beyond me. Seriously, go somewhere else, if you want to discuss the kind of topics mentioned in your OP.

Censorship interests me, or is the topic only suitable for discussion if a male member does the OP ?

Maybe you would like to re-phrase that.

The gender of the OP is irrelvant. The place is being overrun with these kinds of threads, most of which, are out of place on a political forum.

Filament: A new erotic magazine for women believes images like these are a turn on. Hardly! | Mail Online

I don't believe the contributor mentioned anything about gender.

I find your comment interesting in that light.

I do not think that the topic is irrelevant to a political blog, JC Skinner did something similar recently but because he took
an approach that I would consider paternalistic I found it off-putting as a member- thus I wanted to approach it from a
    different angle.

I can honestly say I haven't the slightest clue what you're on about.

Cool, I accept your point a face value. We'll agree to disagree on the point of the suitability of these threads on a political forum though. No hard feelings and I hope I didn't come across as being overly harsh in my criticisms of the thread.
