The history of that region was one of massacre followed by counter massacre - why are you so one sided?

I'm not been one-sided. I'm simply highligting the past misdeeds of the 'proud and noble race' and their current refusal to acknowledge them.

must have been a bit hard to notice , what with the fascists actually in charge of the place and all that .

Now in all fairness, they werent too badly off in Yugoslavia. When the Nazis invaded in 1941, your Croat NDH fascist buddies thoight it would be a good idea exterminating any Serb, Jew, Roma or communist they could lay their hand on. Uncle Adolf was only to happy to oblige.
Actually even uncle Adolf wasnt too happy . The historical record shows the nazis were absolutely disgusted at the ustashe atrocities . The Gestapo were so sickened they even went so far as to make a request to nazi HQ in Berlin that German troops be given the authority to intervene and put an end to many of these despicable actions - such as the little joke the NDH never got tired of which involved stacking severed serb childrens heads in a little row boat , sometimes with their school teachers head on top, and floating it down the sava to be discovered by horrified villagers .
Or not feeding the kids in jasenovac for a week and then serving them a nice hot beef stew laced with caustic soda . Or cutting a captured serbs parents throat in front of him and forcing him drink the blood . Or vice versa . Their hq agreed with them that the atrocities were despicable but pointed out that if nazi troops showed they were able to stop some occuring theyd be balmed with deliberately failing to prevent them all .

this was a throat cutting tool the guards used to use to stop their wrists getting sore , they did so many serbs , socialists and gypsies at random per day that repetitive strain injury became a real affliction

a hard days work no doubt

this 1968 yugoslav documentary should be watched by everyone . These people - the facists , therewere a great many croatian socialists and partisans - were the absolute pits , they made the nazis look like naughty schoolboys .

its not full of jasenovacs or anything like it . That occupies a place all on its own in world history much less balkan . The croat nationalists - ranging from centre right to unapologetic fascists - made every effort to use the exact same fascist symbols and slogans of the ustashe regime for their state from day one, many openly referred to themselves as ustashe . They did this deliberatly to terrify and cow their serb minority which they wanted rid of . And their goal was pretty much the same as their fascist ancestors , an ethnically pure croat state . Something they finally acheived with US and NATO assistance to carry out wholesale ethnic cleansing on a massive scale , the biggest ever carried out in the balkans .

    Merle,

I appreciate that even though we don't agree on politics, you have kept my U2 Croatia thread alive with your gibberish. If it wasn't for your propaganda, the thread would long since have died.

    Regards,

    Conservative Croatian Fascist Green.
