    Sick of hearing "Eddie Hobbs"

Am I the only person who is sick of listening to:

    1. Stupid radio advertisements mimicing Eddie Hobbs and
    2. Eddie Hobbs?

Can't agree Jude. He's a nice guy, offering sound advice and making his way in the world more honestly and competently than many we could mention. A lot of people have benefitted from his advice too. There are plenty of others I'd be happy to see have their mouths taped up and all excess to the media ended: Terry Prone would be top of my list. Jaysus, I'm sick to death of dat wan - she's a bloody menace.

    Agree fully about Prone.

Don't agree with you on Hobbs myself as I think he is mainly a self-publicist (ot the only one I agree).

I was really getting at those stupid radio ads mimicing him; I am sick of listening to them.

Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

Are you ready to embrace that change?

Not yet! The ads still make me laugh.

But I haven't bought the product (mobile phones?) of whoever commissioned them.

Hobbs, like McWilliams, does come across as smug and superior, but I guess it's difficult not to when saying "I told you so".

How is that property fund doing that he was pushing ?

The nice guy thing is part of the Eddie Hobbs product. It doesn't mean he's a nice guy.
