There is a Hibs club in Belfast that is more like a social club for snooker and darts, that mostly collects money for charities and local hospitals.

How many active divisions are there in Ireland - is the St Patrick's Day or Our Lady' Day the biggest event in their calendar and where do they march?

The 'Ancient' bit always makes me giggle. Why not just wear a flashing purple medal that says 'Insecure men playing at being important"?

I knew a guy in Cork years ago whose early death was not unrelated to a fondness of the liquor. It was said of him ( but not confirmed ) that he was one of the few remaining AOH men when Flower Lodge stadium , owned by them, was sold to the GAA, and the AOH guys did nicely from the transaction.

Don't know a lot about them other than they do march in Randalstown and Kilkeel every year, they had a commemorative parade for Joe Devlin in Belfast some years ago - 2004 ? - and they were in the news in 2007 as prohibitive insurance costs led to the cancelling a parade in Derry.
