    What a shower of sh1te!!!!
Im playing stars in their eyes.

Tonight Matthew, Im going to be The SR.

Do you remember that fella who received sectarian abuse a while back on a GAA field?

The SR (knobjockey that he is) got endless milage out of that one.
I thought Id be an intellectual retard for a day too.

merriweather, you are one of the few sane GAA fans on this site. What are you playing at?

Can you please comment on / criticise / justify the Kerry GAA ripping up a pitch that has been used for 20 years by a football team, at night, in order to build a car park. And on direct instruction from Croke Park.

The fact that you are playing inane semantics indicates to me you would rather not discuss this latest upsurge in sporting fascism.

Was any action taken against the individual or the club in question? No

    Compare and contrast.

did he get endless mileage out of the incident or out of the official response from the GAA? One off incidents pass and don't generally reflect the tone of a team/sport/governing body, but the manner in which it is dealt with perseveres and does reflect an attitude.

    Its progress I suppose.
And your Prod friends in Northern Ireland have also been very active spreading glass on pitches to prevent gaelic football being played on them.

    Nail on head.

I won't apologise for the FAI taking a firm stance on racism in sport.

Now, back to the kids of Kerry losing a playing field so the GAA can build a cheap car park

    Indeed.

They are not football facilities, they are municipal facilities. Where did you get the idea that public property is soccer property?
