I've evidence that the two communities in Kerry can live side by side
As you see above Dynamos are able to poster the entrance to Austin Stack park. Well, they were able to do so during the week or was this merely a provocation?

Did you see this nonsense? Kerry GAA really going to town on the definitions of 'foreign games'.
Kerry GAA - Activities not allowed on GAA Grounds-Lá na gclub organisers please note
Hey SR I got in the sh1t for defending Gaelic games on another thread.

i think you'll agree it's a shameful incident
In that might be consider a great moment of irony, Jerome Conway's own club (and my home place) Laune Rangers are fundraising at the moment by offering a top prize of two trips to see the Lions on tour in South Africa! Now I've no problem at all with this, especially since Laune Rangers were created from the then rugby club in the town but one might be forgiven for thinking it a bit odd that fundrasing from the activities of foreign games is ok while holy war is underway with another foreign sport. There again the GAA never had too many problems with Basketball down the years. The plain fact is that it's not the foreigness of the games that is a problem but which particular foreign place they come from.
2nd prize are All-Ireland tickets for this September.

Why some members of the GAA are opposed to some rival games and not to others is a personal matter for each of those members. The reason probably varies from person to person. I suspect that the main consideration is which sport poses most threat to the GAA. American football, boxing, golf, basketball do not pose much of a threat. Soccer and rugby pose very considerable threats.
