I'm keen to hear the opinions of all the frothing mouthed posters on this thread who earlier were all too quick to accuse the Ballyfermot players of being racist scum and 'creamers' and so on.
D-Pils' allegations have been found to be without foundation and Landon have been entirely cleared.
Will we now see articles in Metro Eireann criticising the Latvians for playing the race card without foundation? Will we feck.
This in no way legitimises or substantiates your argument that the Latvians operate a xenophobic team selection policy, and are de-facto racists.

Just in case you think it does. We await evidence of your asseertions, in any event.
Dare I hold my breath? Whats it been, a month at this stage?

Well, it's not my problem that you don't see how picking an entirely Latvian team while playing in a Dublin league, and refusing to entertain the possibility of letting an Irishman try out, could possibly be racist.
That's your category error, based on the erroneous belief that racism is a one-way street.

I've been in India, mate. See here: Skin Flicks: April 2009
Feel free to hold your breath, though. That might be entertaining for the rest of us. But if you do decide to keep breathing, perhaps you could muster up the breath to comment on those nasty creamers you so derided and acknowledge that far from being the racist scum you depicted, they are in fact the wronged party in all of this?

I depicted them as racist scum on this thread? Where?

You said they were guilty of racism and called them creamers, a term I am informed is cognate with scumbag.
You'd be more familiar with your own output of verbiage than I am. Go remind yourself.
Still no comment on the behaviour of the D-Pils team in playing a race card to make unfounded allegations?
Still no comment about the Landon team you were so quick to denigrate?
    Why am I not surprised?

You're not surprised because in order to paper over the absolute inabilty to back up your assertion that the Latvian team operate a xenophobic selection policy and are de-facto racists, you've desperately throwing out strawmen, outright lies, and faux outrage over the creamer remark to cover yourself.

Not to mention daft generalities such as me being a 'self-hater' and only seeing racism as a 'one way street'.

You've pretty much extrapolated that from my very simple position: I want to see evidence that you have that the Latvians operate a xenophobic seletion policy, and are de-facto racists.

Apparently, that makes me a slef hater, or something like that. Go figure.

I suggest that I have asked this about 20 times at this stage. 20 times, you have failed to answer.

The reason you haven't answered is because you have none.

We can do this for another 20 pages if you want.

Sure we can. Because the fact is that I have REPEATEDLY answered your question. The answer doesn't change, just because you don't like the facts.
STILL no comment on the substantive issue, which is that the Latvian team played the race card and egregiously slandered the Ballyfermot boys as racist thugs, then ran to the pet migrant media to ensure that their slander got the widest possible audience?

There are no facts. You claim you phoned them up, and they wouldn't let you play with them.
This makes them xenophobic and de-facto racists therefore.
There is a claim. But there are no facts. Lets be clear on that.

I've explained this already. I dont have an opinion with the substantive point, as you call it. I have literally no idea what the true story is. Any input on my part would be pure speculation.

I have an issue with your allegation the Latvians operate a xenophobic selection policy, and are de-facto racists because of this. So if you continue to address me, Id prefer if you addressed my point. Anything else directed at me is irrelevant.

    So, evidence please?

The fact is that the team is entirely Latvian, a populace making up a negligible percentage of the whole population. And while they were quick to level unsubstantiated allegations of racism at others, they point blank refuse to countenance trying out an Irish player for their team.
Those are the facts. You don't like them. We know this. Feel free to satisfy yourself elsewhere. I'd suggest doing as I did and calling the Leinster FA to establish the nature of the D-Pils team, and then calling them to ask for a trial yourself.

Not at all, since the facts have now been established by the Leinster FA. The Landon team were guilty of nothing at all.
But when the facts were unknown, it didn't stop you calling them creamers and accusing them of racist thuggery, did it? Why so reticent now? Do you endorse the playing of the race card via the media in the manner that D-Pils went about it?

I can only repeat, you've had the evidence over and over.

Where on this thread did I call the Dublin team racist thugs?
