Tell that to the Equality Authority, who have squandered a fortune in state money suing them. Tell it to the court which has reserved judgement on the matter.
I've no problem with either Portmarnock or D-Pils choosing who they want and don't want in their clubs.
What I do have a problem with is when people who operate their own discriminatory practices then start demanding that others be thrown out of a league they have been instrumental in for years on the same basis.

On this very site they could observe how some posters openly discriminate against those of other nationalities, yet are cute enough to dodge charges of racism by explaining how they have reasonable, objective reasons for doing so.

I'm thinking, in particular, of how some posters boast of choosing not to give business to foreign taxi drivers but fend off any suggestion of racism by straining to give objective reasons why they assume that foreigners might not be as suited to the job as someone like them.

Of course, these Latvian footballers may lack the necessary English language skills to browse the threads in question.

Thankfully, there exists a poster who is both a Russian-speaker AND has a keen interest in explaining why he doesn't give business to foreign taxi drivers in Dublin. What a coincidence!

Certainly the concerns in relation to some posters like Meri seem to apply only to non-Irish. He's happy to denigrate Irish people from Ballyfermot, but rushes to the defence of Latvians when they make unproven allegations of racism.
