Sharon Ní Bheoláin and Seachtain na Gaeilge

Sharon Ní Bheoláin is the person (or public face) promoting Seachtain na Gaeilge this year.

For the second year running a CD will be brought out featuring Irish language bands and bands singing songs in Irish.

Last year the album got to number 4 in the charts, which was excellent for its first year.

This year it will be a double-album featuring 'The Corrs', amongst others.

What are you embarassed about? You should be either immensly proud or immensly jealous.

    Are you being sarcastic?

I never knew that Sharon was related to a SF councillor.

I'll ask her the next time I see her. I don't know her but I might meet her over Seachtain na Gaeilge.
