I think its the play about an IRA 'nutting squad' interrogating an IRA member who's a suspected tout. If its the one I'm thinking about, it was on at this year's west Belfast Feile festival, and caused a bit of controversy by (allegedly) portraying IRA members as wife abusers haunted by inner demons. Part of a subtle campaign of honouring those who fought in the Troubles but have now embraced peace, as a way of undermining those who would glorify those who continue the armed struggle with the R/CIRA. Apparantely.

Being played round your way :

And no doubt relevant to your everyday life :

Why are you so keen to promote the work of Danny Morrison when you have been banned from his web-site :

Pogo is it Seabird or Danny Morrison you are trying to get at?

Have all the plays you have ever seen been relevant to your everyday life? If they are not does that mean you shouldn't see them...its called broadening the mind...you should try it sometime.

    Cara,

I have read the book and really enjoyed it. The opportunity does not exist here for me to see the play but if it ever presents itself, I will be first in line for tickets!

Haven't seen the show but apparently Michael Portillo has given it a favourable review in one of the English papers (not sure which one). This presumably means it's safe for MJ et al to watch.
