Often thought of going to one, such as the McGill one. Might have a chance to do so this year. Can anyone, speaking from experience or reports, give an evaluation of any of the summer schools held around the country ? Not just the subjects, but the craic ( if any ), etc.
What? Like Institute/Ashfield college summer courses or public school extra-excurricular stuff?

The only one that springs to mind is the McGill one in Donegal, usually with a Northern theme. From time to time, you would read of speeches given at summer schools / seminars but the names of any of them escape me right now.
