    Good Luck Trap

I know I didn't support his appointment, but with Giovanni trapatoni officially taking over as Irish soccer manager tomorrow, I would like to wish him all the best. Hopefully he will prove me wrong and prove to be a prudent choice. I still think John Delaney has a silly coiff though.

It could have been worse - we could be anointing Dave O'Leary tomorrow!

Dave O' leary would be a brilliant manager and would have been my choice. Look at the heights he took Leeds to. It's not his fault the club gave him money they didn't have.

The FAI's 'live' broadcast consists of a small bit of writing on the page. WTF?

Point taken. Mediocre team though. What he did with Leeds was exceptional, he can't be expected to do it everywhere.

Now, why can't I see this bloody press conference?

I read somewhere that the Leeds players felt he was arrogant and aloof, left training to his coaches and had no say in the clubs youth system.

There is a reason he is unemployed. Doubly so bearing in mind he speaks Italian. Tripley so there is money in the LoI
