I am hoping that in a long campaign the pro-choice side will have to come up some new argument rather than the endless anti-Catholic stuff, which has got to be boring the whole country right now, never mind p.ie afficiandos!
The proponents of repeal are very much focusing on the issues.

Lucinda and her fellow-travellers are focusing on dream world, which includes Lucinda's hope of ever being a major political figure in Ireland.

The anti-Catholic rhetoric is what sells generally these days. That same rhetoric is amplified by the media enablers.

Unlike 1983, we have greater knowledge available to us today.
Science for example has actually vindicated fully the age old Christian teaching that conception is human life.
Technological progress has allowed this enquiry to be established beyond every trace of any doubt. We know the facts know.

Advocating for abortion means advocating to kill human life therefore.

8th amendment protects the life of the baby and mother. Constitutions contains rights. Removing that right of protection from our Constitution leaves every unborn baby and every expectant mother less protected.

Lucinda need have no fear that most of us will recognise her in the street, much less decide to give her anything other than an eye-roll if we do.
She writes for the Super Soaraway Scum. That tells me all I need to know about her.

Re-who-a or any candidate who stood on a purely "prolife" platform were left by the 3rd count with most of them barely qualifying to get the deposit back. Your Walshes, your Bopps etc don't have a hope of being elected.
